Strat primer
STRAT Scanner is built for traders who use The STRAT. The platform is inspired by structured price-action concepts and maps them into two core workflows: Context (Opportunity) and Confirmation.
Context and Confirmation in the UI
Context surfaces pre-trigger structure so you can monitor developing sequences. Confirmation begins only after a trigger occurs and is tracked through its lifecycle states. These are descriptive markers used to observe structure, not recommendations to act.
Lifecycle states
- Context: Forming means the sequence is still developing. Pending means the current candle is the trigger candidate. The stage reflects the pattern sequence, not a fixed candle number.
- Confirmation: Active is live, Expired ends on the next candle slot, and Invalidated ends earlier if the structure breaks intrabar.
Higher-timeframe alignment
FTFC (Full Timeframe Continuity) compares the close versus open of higher-timeframe candles to show alignment. Treat it as context for interpreting structure, not a standalone confirmation.
